A bedtime story in your voice
Parents look for a custom bedtime story with a parent voice, a bedtime story in my voice, or a way to record a bedtime story for custody nights and for when I am away. Many story apps clone a recording. Goodnight Little Hero is the other path: a short personalized story you review, then read out loud in your own voice.
Your voice on the nights you are home, and a ritual kids recognize across houses.
Goodnight Little Hero does not clone your voice, and it does not record you reading. You stay the reader. On the nights you are home, your child hears you. On custody nights, and on nights at the other house, the same kind of story can be the ritual they already know: their name, their interests, and a parent reading aloud.
This page is not a kid app. There is no login for your child, and nothing here asks you to hand them a device so they can listen alone. Stories are written for ages about 3 to 12. If a line does not fit your child, you change it or skip it before you start reading. Quiet time without a screen can sit beside this bedtime. See that path on the screen-free bedtime routine page.
How Goodnight Little Hero works
This is a parent tool. There is no kid app and no login for your child.
- You share their first name, age, and interests. Stories are written for ages about 3 to 12.
- A new story is created with your child as the hero.
- You review it before anyone hears it.
- You read it aloud in your own voice.
If you want the story shaped around your child from the start, see personalized bedtime stories.
