Goodnight, Little Hero helps parents create personalized bedtime stories. This policy explains the information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Parent account information, including email address and password hash.
- Child story details entered by a parent, such as first name or nickname, age, interests, favorite color, story mode, and bedtime routine tasks.
- Generated stories, Forever Bookshelf saves, delivery settings, and subscription status.
- Payment information is handled by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
How we use information
We use information to create stories, save your account, deliver nightly stories, send product and trial emails, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, improve the service, and understand whether ads and signup flows are working.
Service providers
We use service providers including AI language-model providers for story generation, Resend for email delivery, Stripe for payments, Meta and Google for advertising measurement, and hosting providers to run the app.
For ad measurement, we may send limited event data such as signup or purchase events, browser attribution cookies, IP address, user agent, and a hashed version of the parent email address to Meta or Google. We do not send your child's story details to advertising platforms.
Children's information
The service is for parents and guardians. Children should not create accounts. Please use a first name or nickname only and do not enter sensitive personal details.
Choices
You can preview stories before reading them, update or delete child story details in your account, cancel your subscription, and delete your account from your dashboard. Meta and Google analytics and advertising cookies stay off unless you accept them. You can change that choice at any time with the Cookie choices control.
